    Dried Apple Torte

    DRIED APPLE TORTE


    CRUST

    2 Cups Flour
    1 Cup Shortening
    Pinch Salt
    2 Tbls. Sugar

    APPLE FILLING

    3 Cups Graceland dried Apples
    simmer 5 minutes in 1 Cup water, let stand 10 min., drain
    1 Cup Sugar
    1 tsp. Cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. Vanilla
    1 Tbl. Butter
    1/4 tsp. Salt
    1/4 tsp. Nutmeg

    DRIED APPLE TORTE

    CRUST



    Mix and pat into a 9 1/2 x 13 1/2 pan.

    APPLE FILLING


    Mix and put in crust and bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes.
