    Cherry Celebration

    2 cups boiling water
    2 pkg. (4 serving size each) JELL-O Brand Cherry Flavor Gelatin
    4 cups ice cubes
    3 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
    1 cup cherry pie filling



    STIR boiling water into gelatin in large bowl until completely dissolved. Add ice cubes; stir until gelatin begins to thicken. Remove any unmelted ice.
    ADD whipped topping; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Refrigerate until slightly thickened, about 20 minutes.
    ADD cherry pie filling; stir gently until well blended. Spoon into glass bowl or 12 champagne glasses. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Garnish with additional whipped topping and cherry pie filling just before serving, if desired.
