    List of Ingredients

    Bow Tie Pasta
    3tsp. chopped fresh Italian parsley
    3tsp. chopped fresh basil
    2 tsp. chopped fresh chives
    2 tsp. chopped fresh chervil
    1 tsp. chopped fresh tarragon
    1tsp. chopped fresh sage
    1tsp. chopped fresh oregano
    1tsp. chopped fresh marjoram
    1tsp. chopped fresh thyme
    1 tsp. chopped fresh rosemary
    1/2 to 3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, peeled and finely chopped
    1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 pound tiny shaped pasta,(such as tripolini or other small pasta). She used bow ties pasta.
    Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, optional

In a med. saucepan, combine parsley, basil, chives, chervil, tarragon, sage, oregano, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, olive oil, garlic and pepper flakes. Turn heat to low; using a wooden spoon, gently stir until herbs turn bright green, releasin their fragrance, about 2-3 mins. Season with salt and pepper to taste. I use the salt right away because salt helps to keep the herbs nice green color.

    Recipe

Cook pasta according to package instructions or until al dente. Drain, leaving some moisture clinging to pasta; place in a warm serving bowl. Pour herb mixture over pasta and toss, adding salt if desired and several grindings of coarse black pepper. Serve immediately with an optional sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.
    4-6 servings.
