    Pork Chops Marsala la MiMi
    Ingredients:
    Boneless or bone-in pork chops
    Italian Bread Crumbs (Progresso, Contadina, etc.)
    *lemon juice - optional (see * below)
    Marsala wine
    Apple juice or apple cider
    olive oil
    *you can also squeeze in juice of 1/23 fresh lemon for a little more zesty flavor

    Pork Chops Marsala la MiMi

    Directions:
    dredge pork chops in bread crumbs, set aside
    pour sufficient olive oil in skillet (with lid); heat on med. heat until drop of water sizzles in pan
    place pork chops in pan, brown on both sides
    add marsala wine to almost cover chops
    add about 1/4 c. apple juice or cider
    lower heat, cover and cook for about 45 min. to 1 hr.

    Sauce in pan will thicken, making a light sauce

    Serve with potatoes, green vegetable, salad
