Hearty Chicken Noodle Soup
6 cups canned chicken broth
1 cup each sliced carrots and celery
4 oz uncooked extra-wide egg noodles
1/2 cup frozen green peas
2 1/2 cups large shreds cooked chicken
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1. Put broth, carrots, celery and 1 cup water in a 3- to 4-qt pot. Bring to a boil, add noodles and boil 6 minutes or until noodles are almost tender.
2. Add peas; boil 1 minute until noodles and vegetables are tender. Stir in chicken and parsley; heat through.
