    Makes 2 loaves
    ingredients
    • 3 cups flour
    • 3 tsp. Baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1 1/2 cup raisins
    • 1/4 lb. butter
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 1/4 cup buttermilk

    directions
    1. Mix dry and wet ingredients separately.
    2. Stir together and place in two greased loaf pans.
    3. Bake for 40 to 50 min. at 350.
