    Dinner Rolls

    Source of Recipe

    Sarah Whiting

    List of Ingredients

    • 2 cups milk
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 Tbsp. yeast
    • 7 cups of flour

    Instructions

    1. Heat milk, sugar and butter until the butter melts. Cool to about 120'. Meanwhile, put 2 cups of flour and the yeast into the bowl of a heavy duty mixer with a dough hook, stir in the milk mixture. Add eggs. Gradually add flour until the dough is no longer sticky to the touch. Sometimes it takes a little more.
    2. You want the dough to be soft. Oil a large bowl, put in the dough and roll so it all gets coated. Let rise until double. Shape into rolls and place in an oiled pan. Let rise again until double.
    3. Bake at 350' for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
      * NOTE * This dough can also be used to make good cinnamon rolls.
