    Swedish Rhubarb Dessert

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup shortening
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 1/2 cups flour
    2 egg yolks
    2 Tbsp milk
    5-6 cups rhubarb - enough to cover crust
    6 eggs and 2 egg whites
    1 cup milk
    1 tsp nutmeg
    1 1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 tsp salt

    Recipe

    Cream shortening and 1/2 cup sugar. Add egg yolk and mix well. Stir in flour and add milk. Pat into 9 x 13 pan - bottom and sides. Put rhubarb on crust. Beat eggs and whites. Add 1 1/2 cup sugar, salt, and milk. Add nutmeg. Pour over rhubarb and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
