Peaches and Cream Oatmeal

List of Ingredients
- 1/4 cup wheat germ
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 cups quick cooking or old fashioned oatmeal, uncooked
- 1 cup frozen sliced peaches, chopped
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
Instructions
- Combine wheat germ, brown sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon in bowl and set aside.
- Bring milk, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and nutmeg to a boil.
- Stir in oats and cook for 1 minute if using quick cooking oats and 5 minutes if using the old fashioned oats.
- Stir in the peaches and continue to cook until peaches are heated through ( about 1-2 minutes)
- Spoon oatmeal into serving bowls.
- To serve, top each portion with the wheat germ mixture and the yogurt.
