    Peaches and Cream Oatmeal

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/4 cup wheat germ
    • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
    • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 3 cups milk
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    • 2 cups quick cooking or old fashioned oatmeal, uncooked
    • 1 cup frozen sliced peaches, chopped
    • 1 cup vanilla yogurt


    Instructions


    1. Combine wheat germ, brown sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon in bowl and set aside.
    2. Bring milk, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and nutmeg to a boil.
    3. Stir in oats and cook for 1 minute if using quick cooking oats and 5 minutes if using the old fashioned oats.
    4. Stir in the peaches and continue to cook until peaches are heated through ( about 1-2 minutes)
    5. Spoon oatmeal into serving bowls.
    6. To serve, top each portion with the wheat germ mixture and the yogurt.
