    Recipe Introduction

I usually serve this over noodles; but, it can also be served over rice or potatoes.

    List of Ingredients

    • 6 Tablespoons flour
    • 1 pound boneless sirloin, thinly sliced
    • 3 Tablespoons oil
    • 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
    • 1 onion, sliced
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 can (14.5 ounce) beef broth
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 2 Tablespoons dijon mustard
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper.

    Instructions

    1. Coat the beef slices with 3 Tablespoons flour.
    2. Heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
    3. Add the meat and cook for 5 to 6 minutes or until no longer pink.
    4. Remove the beef and keep warm.
    5. Heat the remaining oil in the skillet.
    6. Add the mushrooms, onion and garlic and cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until tender.
    7. Sprinkle the remaining 3 Tablespoons of flour over the mushroom mixture.
    8. Cook 1 minute, then add the broth.
    9. Cook mixture, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil.
    10. Add the reserved meat.
    11. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream, mustard and pepper.
    12. Heat for 1 to 2 minutes. Serve.
