Recipe Introduction
I usually serve this over noodles; but, it can also be served over rice or potatoes.
List of Ingredients
- 6 Tablespoons flour
- 1 pound boneless sirloin, thinly sliced
- 3 Tablespoons oil
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (14.5 ounce) beef broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 Tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
Instructions
- Coat the beef slices with 3 Tablespoons flour.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Add the meat and cook for 5 to 6 minutes or until no longer pink.
- Remove the beef and keep warm.
- Heat the remaining oil in the skillet.
- Add the mushrooms, onion and garlic and cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until tender.
- Sprinkle the remaining 3 Tablespoons of flour over the mushroom mixture.
- Cook 1 minute, then add the broth.
- Cook mixture, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil.
- Add the reserved meat.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream, mustard and pepper.
- Heat for 1 to 2 minutes. Serve.
