VEG: BARBECUED CORN WITH CHILI BUTTER

List of Ingredients
12 ears corn in their husks
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 Tblsp hot red pepper sauce
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Recipe
Peel back husks; remove corn silk. Bring husks back up and tie with kitchen string. Soak corn in cold water for 30 minutes. Beat together softened butter, pepper sauce, chili and garlic powders until smooth; set aside. Grill corn over medium heat for 25 minutes or until corn is tender, turning often. Remove husks. Serve with reserved butter mixture.
FLAVOR VARIATIONS:blend with 1/2 cup softened butter:
** 3 Tblsp brown mustard and and 1 Tblsp horseradish
** 3 Tblsp minced fresh herbs and 1 Tblsp Worchestershire sauce
** 2 Tblsp hot red pepper sauce and 1 tsp curry powder(for Indian flavor)
** 2 Tblsp hot red pepper sauce and 1/2 tsp ground ginger and 1 Tblsp soy sauce (for Asian flavor)
