1 loaf Bridgford Frozen Bread Dough, White or Honey Wheat, thawed
2 tablespoons olive oil
Recipe
Ignite charcoal to prepare a medium fire. Divide bread dough into 4 slices. Flatten each into 6-inch rounds. Brush one side of each round of dough with oil. Place oiled side down on oiled grill set approximately 6-inches above heated coals. Cook covered, until browned and firm, about 5 minutes. Brush tops of dough and turn breads over. Top cooked side of bread with suggested toppings. Cook until crust is brown.
Topping ideas
Sliced fresh tomatoes with basil and grated Fontina cheese, grilled onions (onion slices sauteed in butter until limp), fresh herbs and garlic, grated Parmesan cheese and garlic, pizza sauce with grated Mozzarella cheese and sliced olives, or feta cheese and black olives.
