    gilly

    List of Ingredients

    Batter:
2 cups Hodgson Mill pastry flour
4 teaspoons Clabber Girl Baking Powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    4 tablespoons cold butter
    2/3 cup milk

    Filling:
    1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
    1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    2 tablespoons melted butter

    Glaze:
    1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon water (use more water if necessary)

    Recipe

In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder and salt. With pastry blender cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk and stir.
Knead dough on floured surface. With floured rolling pin, roll out dough to about a 12 x 12 inch rectangle.
Mix together filling ingredients except butter. Brush butter over dough; sprinkle with filling mixture.
Starting at one end of the dough, roll up in jelly roll fashion. Cut into 1-inch slices. Place slices on a greased cookie sheet.

Bake in a preheated 375 degree F. oven for about 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from pan and place on cooling rack.
Drizzle Glaze on top of rolls when slightly cool.
