VERY BEST MINT BROWNIES

List of Ingredients
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
4 eggs
1 16 oz Hershey's special dark syrupRecipe
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed for 3 minuts. Pour batter into a qreased 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350* degrees for 30 minutes (top of brownies will appear wet). Cool completely.
SECOND LAYER
2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp water
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 tsp mint extract
3 drops green or red food color
Combine filling ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Beat until creamy. Spread over cooled brownies. Refrigerate until set.
THIRD LAYER
1 10 oz. package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup + 1 Tblsp. butter, softened
Melt chocolate chips and butter on low heat or in a microwave. Let cool until lukewarm, stirring occasionally. Spread over filling. Chill before cutting. Store in refrigerator.
Makes 2 dozen brownies.
