Creamy Orange Cake

List of Ingredients
1, 18.25oz. pkg. orange cake mix
1 3oz. pkg. orange gelatin mix
1 c. boiling water
1 3.4oz. pkg. pig. instant vanilla pudding mix(or use cook type, with the milk and make ahead while the cake is baking and let cool to use)
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. orange extract
1 8oz. container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Recipe
Prepare and bake the cake mix according to the package
directions for a 9x13 inch pan. Poke holes in the cake while it is still hot with the round handle of a wooden spoon. Make the gelatin with only the 1 c. of boiling water. Let the gelatin cool slightly, then pour over the cake while still pretty hot. Let cake cool completely. Make the instant vanilla pudding with only 1 c. of milk or use the premade cook type that has been cooling. Stir in the vanilla and orange extracts. Then fold in the whipped topping and spread evenly over the top of the cake. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Makes 12 servings or one 9x13x2 inch pan.
