1 gallon small pickling cucumbers
8 curs water
1/4 cup pickling salt
4 cloves garlic
4 bay leaves
6 dill heads
2 Tbsp dill seeds
8 grape leaves
Recipe
Wash cukes, remove blossom end. Fill a gallon jar with the cukes.
Combine water and salt. Stir to dissolve the salt.
Add the garlic cloves,bay leaves, dill heads/seeds and grape leaves to the jar of cukes.
Pour brine over cukes. Cover with weight to keep cukes under brine.
Store at room temp. If scum forms, skim off. The pickles are done in about 3 days.
Pour off the brine. Bring it to a boil. Pack pickles in clean quart jars. Pour brine over pickles. Store in refrigerator
