    8 to 10 large onions, sliced
    1/2 cup butter
    6 cans condensed beef broth
    1 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
    3 bay leaves
    10 slices french bread, toasted
    grated paremesan and/or mozzarella cheese

    Recipe



    Saute onions in butter until crisp-tender. Transfer to slow cooker. Add broth, worcestershire sauce, and bay leaves. Cover and cook on low 5 to 7 hours, or until onions are tender. Discard bay leaves. Ladel into bowls. Top each with a slice of bread and some cheese.
