    I'm kinda thinking that the number of wooden skewers listed in the recipe is wrong. What do you think? ;)

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 lbs flank steak
    3/4 cup teriyaki sauce
    6 tbsp vegetable oil
    1/4 cup fresh ginger, finely chopped
    1/3 cup garlic, minced
    1 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
    864 wooden skewers

    Recipe



    1 A taste of the Orient for your patio parties.
    2 Prepare basting mixture by mixing teriyaki sauce, vegetable oil, ginger and crushed red pepper.
    3 Cut beef diagonally, across the grain, into 1/4-inch thick slices.
    4 Thread each slice onto a bamboo skewer.
    5 Brush ribbons generously with basting mixture.
    6 Broil or grill 3 minutes per side to desired doneness, basting once or twice and turning occasionally.
    7 Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 10 minutes before threading beef so skewers will not burn.
