Stuffing Topped Chicken Pot Pie

1 6 ounce package chicken flavored stuffing mix
1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces
1 1/2 cups hot water
1 10 3/4 ounce can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
3 cups chopped cooked chicken, (about 1 pound)
1 10 ounce package frozen vegetable(s)
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leavesRecipe
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove seasoning packet from stuffing mix and place in a bowl with butter. Add water and stir to partially melt butter. Add stuffing crumbs. Stir gently to mix and set aside. Combine soup and milk in a 2 quart baking dish. Mix chicken, vegetable(s), and thyme into soup. Spoon stuffing over chicken. Bake until hot and bubbly, about 45 minutes.
