10 oz shortening
3 oz coconut oil oil
2 oz olive oil
1 oz castor oil

2 oz lye
6 oz water


Recipe



Melt the oils in a soap safe bowl ( enamal, glass, plastic) Pour the water into the lye in a Pyrex measureing cup. It will be very HOT! Allow it to cool to 95 degree and the oils to approximately 115 degrees. Slowly, pour the lye water mixture into the oils. Stir until it traces. Pour into molds. Unmold after 48 hours, but into bars. Allow to age 4 weeks.
