    HERBED CHICKEN BAKE

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
    2 tablespoons grate Parmesan cheese
    1 teaspoon dried sweet basil (or 1 tablespoon fresh)
    1 teaspoon dried oregano (or 1 tablespoon fresh)
    1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
    4 chicken breasts (bone in is best), skinned
    1/2 cup butter, melted
    1/2 cup dry white wine
    1/2 cup onion, chopped
    1/2 cup dried parsley flakes (or 1 cup fresh)


    Recipe



    Combine first 5 ingredients, mixing well. Dip chicken in butter; dredge in bread crumb mixture. Place in a foil-lined baking dish. Bake at 375* for 30 minutes.

    Combine wine, onion, and parsley with remaining butter; stir well. Pour over chicken; continue baking 20 minutes or until done.

    Serves 4

    NOTES*: I'll probably substitute chicken broth for the wine, and omit the onions, as my family won't touch them!
