1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
1/3 cup pine nuts or slivered almonds
1 clove garlic, minced
3 cups cooked rice (cooked in chicken broth)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
Recipe
Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add onions, nuts and garlic; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until nuts are lightly browned. Add rice, salt, pepper and thyme; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until well blended. Serve immediately.
