    Liver Pate'

    This is tasty Spread over Melba toast, crackers..or bagel chips


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. chicken livers
    • 1/2 C butter
    • 2 small onions
    • 4 hard -boiled eggs
    • 1/2 tsp. curry powder
    • 1/4 tsp. thyme
    • 1/4 cup heavy cream
    • 1/4 cup brandy
    • Garnish chopped Parsley


    Instructions


    1. Rinse chicken,cut in half and pat dry
    2. Saute' in 1/4 c butter until just cooked and still pink inside
    3. Remove from pan & cool.

    4. Use food processor with blade add onions , pulse on and off till coarsely chopped,add remaining butter
    5. pour pan with brandy and juices and onion, liver
    6. Return mixture to work bowl and process off and on until coarsely chopped
    7. Add salt/pepper,curry powder and thyme,
    8. cut eggs into mixture,
      pulse until blended,
    9. Blend smooth add cream and Brandy..
      chill and garnish with parsley.
