Apple Kuchen

Nice coffee cake,,served warm or cold





List of Ingredients



• 1/2 C margarine
  
• 1 1/2 C sugar
  
• 2 eggs (beaten)
  
• 1 tsp. vanilla
  
• 3 C all purpose flour.
  
• 3 tsp baking powder
  
• 1 tsp.. salt
  
• 1 C milk
  
• 3 cups sliced apples
  
• ~~~topping~~~
  
• 1/4 C sugar
  
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
  
• ~Glaze~
  
• 1/2 C icing sugar
  
• 1 tsp. margarine
  
• 1 tbs. milk
  






Instructions



1. Cream margarine and 11/2 c. sugar, blend in eggs and vanilla.
   
2. Sift together flour, baking powder& salt;
   Add dry ingredients,,alternat w/ milk.
   
3. Spread in a greased 13 x 9 pan
   
4. Arrange apple slices on top of the batter,
   
5. Combine 1/4 c sugar, cinnamon and sprinkle over apple slices.
   
6. Bake in moderate oven 375* for 35 - 40 min
   
7. Drizzle glaze over warm cake,, not hot..
