    Pesto-Chickpea Dip,or Crema de Cicci

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 cups canned Chickpeas/Garbanzo beans (2 cans)
    • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
    • 3 tbs. olive oil
    • 1 or 2 clove garlic
    • 1 tsp.
    • 1/4 tsp pepper
    • 1/4 to 1/2 cup water


    Instructions


    1. If using canned beans,drain and rinse.Place basil,oil,salt,garlic and pepper in food processor and chop.Add chick peas and a few tablespoons of the water.Process until smooth,adding more water as needed
