    Quick: Blue Point Corn Bread

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1 cup corn meal
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1 tablespoon baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • Pinch cayenne
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 cup buttermilk
    • 4 tablespoons butter, melted


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    2. Combine flour, corn meal, sugar, baking powder, salt and pinch of cayenne. In a separate bowl, add together eggs, buttermilk and butter. Fold liquids into solids. Incorporate completely. Pour batter into greased and flour dusted loaf pans. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

    3. Makes 2 (6 inch) loaves.
