Dowie's Blueberry Muffins

- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk or milk (I used light cream)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups blueberries
Instructions
- Cream the butter, sugar and salt by hand or mixer until light. Beat in eggs and milk. Add flour and baking powder and lightly mix. Fold in blueberries. Spoon into 12 muffin tins. Sprinkle some sugar over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Yield: 12 muffins
