Glazed Lemon Loaf

List of Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup milk
- Grated peel of 1/2 a lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- Lemon Glaze:
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. In another bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Add dry ingredients. Stir until moistened. Turn into a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. When cool, top with lemon glaze.
- Lemon Glaze: Combine sugar and lemon juice and mix until sugar dissolves. When loaf is almost cool, spoon mixture over top.
