    Quick: Mott's Banana Bread

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 2 teaspoons baking powder
    • 2 teaspoons baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
    • 4 ripe medium bananas, mashed (2 cups)
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1/2 cup Mott's natural applesauce
    • 3 egg whites
    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8x4" loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.

    2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and allspice.

    3. In a medium bowl, whisk together bananas, sugar, apple sauce, egg whites, oil and vanilla. Add banana mixture to flour mixture; mix well.

    4. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

    5. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Invert onto wire rack; turn right side up. Cool completely. Cut into 16 slices.

    6. Makes 16 servings
