- 3/4 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup flour
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Sift flour and cornmeal; measure and add baking soda, cream of tartar, salt and sugar. Sift again. Add beaten egg, sour cream, milk and melted butter. Beat thoroughly. Pour into a greased 9x9 inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 425.
