    Eggs: Bacon Breakfast Casserole

    List of Ingredients


    • 8 slices white bread, crusts trimmed
    • 8 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled
    • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    • 2 green onions, sliced
    • 1 1/2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
    • 4 eggs, beaten
    • 2 cups milk


    Instructions


    1. Place four bread slices on bottom of greased 8" square baking pan.

    2. Sprinkle bacon, mushrooms, onion and cheese over bread.

    3. Cover with remaining bread slices.

    4. Mix eggs and milk; pour over bread.

    5. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour or overnight.

    6. Bake uncovered, at 350 for 1 hour.

    7. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
