Rolls: Cinnamon Rolls

- 1 beaten egg
- 3 cups biscuit baking mix
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons soft butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- Glaze:
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons warm water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Use ungreased baking sheet.
- Mix the egg, biscuit mix and milk together until it forms a soft dough.
- Roll out onto a floured surface.
- Knead lightly, just until smooth.
- Roll into a 10x8" triangle.
- Spread with butter.
- Mix the sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over top of butter.
- Tightly roll up, beginning with the wide end.
- Seal the ends.
- Place sealed side down onto baking sheet.
- Make slits into the top of the roll at 1" intervals.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- For Glaze Topping, Mix the sugar and water together.
- Drizzle over the top of the roll while still warm.
- Cut into 10 to 12 slices.
