    Doughnuts: Doughnut Holes

    Source of Recipe

    Recipe Goldmine

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 (7 1/2 ounce) can buttermilk biscuits
    • 2 tablespoons melted margarine
    • Glaze:
    • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
    • 1 tablespoon margarine
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
    • Topping:
    • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or coat with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.

    2. Open the can of biscuits and seperate them into 10 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball.

    3. Dip the balls in the melted margarine. Roll the entire ball so it's well coated. Place on baking sheet (they don't spread much, so they can be close together).

    4. Bake for 6 to 7 minutes, or just until beginning to become slightly brown. Remove from oven and cool.

    5. In a small bowl, mix together the confectioners' sugar, margarine, vanilla and milk. Blending until smooth.

    6. Combine the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl; set aside.

    7. Dip each cooled doughnut in glaze. Roll some in the cinnamon sugar, leave some with glaze.
