Biscuits: Frozen Biscuits

List of Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Combine all dry ingredients.
- Cut in shortening.
- Mix egg and milk together and add to flour mixture.
- Mix and knead to a soft dough. Roll out on floured board. Cut into biscuits.
- Freeze on cookie sheet in single layer, then bag for storage.
- Do not thaw before baking.
- Bake 20 minutes in 425 degree oven.
- Makes 10 to 12 biscuits
