Danish: Peachy Cheese Danish

- 1 (8 ounce) tube refrigerated cresent rolls
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 8 teaspoons peach preserves
- Glaze:
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 to 2 teaspoons milk
Instructions
- Separate dough into four rectangles, seal perforations. On lightly floured surface, roll each rectangle into 7 inch by 3 1/2 inch rectangle.
- Combine cream cheese, sugar, and lemon juice until smooth; spread over rectangles. Roll up from long side, pinch edges to seal. Holding one end, loosely coil each.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Top each coil with 2 tsp preserves. Bake at 350 fro 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- For glaze, combine powdered sugar, vanilla, and enough milk to achieve desired consistency. Drizzle over top of each baked coil while warm.
