    Pie: Chocolate Coconut Pie

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 ounces of german sweet chocolate
    • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
    • 1 (13 ounce) can evaporated milk
    • 1 1/3 cups angel flake coconut
    • 3 slightly beaten eggs
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1 frozen, unbaked 9 inch pie shell


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt chocolate and butter over low heat in a saucepan, stirring constantly. Add milk, coconut, eggs and sugar. Stir until ingredients are blended well.

    2. Pour into pie shell and bake for approximately 30 minutes. Cool or serve warm with ice cream or cool whip. Store in refrigerator.
