    Pound Cake: Cream Cheese Pound Cake

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup margarine, softened
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
    • 3 cups sugar
    • Dash of salt
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla
    • 6 large eggs
    • 3 cups cake flour


    Instructions


    1. Mix together margarine, butter, and cream cheese. Add sugar, vanilla, and salt. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour a little at a time until mixed well.

    2. Grease and flour tube pan. Place into a cold oven and bake at 275 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until done. Let cool in pan. Run knife around pan and remove cake.
