Cake: Pineapple Cake

List of Ingredients
- 3 cups self-rising flour, sift and then measure
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Glaze:
- 1 cup batter
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 medium size can crushed pineapple
Instructions
- Mix first five ingredients. Reserve 1 cup batter. Pour remaining batter into three 9 inch cake pans. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Combine glaze ingredients in the top of a double boiler. Cook until thick and glossy. Spread between layers, on top and sides of cake.
