    List of Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup Land 'O Lakes butter
    • 1/4 cup milk
    • 1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet real chocolate chips
    • 3 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1/2 cup Toffee chips, plus 2 tablespoons for topping

    Instructions

    1. Combine butter, milk and chocolate chips in a large microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high until butter and chocolate chips are melted (1 1/2 to 2 minutes). Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla; beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often until smooth (2 to 3 minutes). Stir in 1/2 cup toffee chips by hand. Spread in buttered 8 inch square baking dish. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon toffee chips over top; gently press into fudge. Cover and refrigerate until firm ( 1 to 1 1/2 hours). Cut into squares. Store refrigerated in airtight container.
    2. Tip: For easy cutting, line pan with aluminum foil, extending foil over sides of pan; butter foil. To serve, lift foil and fudge out of pan; cut into squares. Place squares in paper candy cups.
    3. Stove-Top Directions: Combine butter, milk and chocolate chips in a 2 quart saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until butter and chocolate chips are melted (5 to 10 minutes). Place chocolate mixture in a large mixer bowl. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla. Continue as directed above.
    4. Yield: 3 dozen candies
