- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup butterscotch or peanut butter chips
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup marshmallow cream
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups peanuts
- 40 caramels. unwrapped
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- First Layer: Mix 1 cup milk chocolate chips and 1/4 cup butterscotch or peanut butter chips, melt over low heat.
- Spread mixture in a buttered 9x13" pan. freeze until firm.
- Second Layer: Boil the sugar, milk and margarine 5 minutes.
- Add 1/4 cup of the peanut butter, marshmallow cream and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Pour over the first layer and sprinkle with peanuts. Cool.
- Third Layer: Melt the caramels with the water and pour over peanuts.
- Fourth Layer: Melt 1 cup milk chocolate and 1/4 cup butterscotch or peanut butter chips and remaining 1/4 cup peanut butter. Pour on top. Cool.
- Cut into bars.
