    Chili Cheese Mac Bake

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 pounds ground beef or 1 pound beef, 1 pound pork
    • 1 small onion, chopped, as desired
    • Garlic, to taste
    • 1 can hot chili beans
    • 1 large can regular kidney beans
    • 1 can white beans
    • 1 package chili mix
    • 1 or 2 large cans crushed tomatoes with juice
    • 1 package pasta of your choice
    • 4 to 5 cups shredded cheese, your favorite


    Instructions


    1. Saute onions and garlic; add meat. When meat is done, add chili mix and 1 can tomatoes. Drain all beans, rinse and add to meat mixture. Cook pasta to aldente, drain water and add to meat mixture. Let simmer for about 2 hours. You may need to add more tomatoes as it's cooking; the mixture should not be thick. Pour into baking pan layering meat and bean mixture with cheese, starting with chili and ending with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes until cheese is melted and starting to brown.
