Beef: Fiesta Pie

- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 (8 ounce) jar cheez whiz
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 cup chopped tomato
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon cornmeal
Instructions
- Brown meat; drain.
- Add green bell pepper and onion; cook until tender.
- Add chili powder and half of the cheez whiz; stir over low heat until cheese is melted. Stir in tomato.
- Combine remaining cheez whiz, eggs, flour, salt and milk; beat until smooth.
- Pour into greased 9" pie plate; sprinkle with cornmeal.
- Spoon meat mixture over batter to within 1" of edge.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
