    Kielbasa: Kielbasa Rice Casserole

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 can condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
    • 3/4 cup water
    • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
    • 1 pound kielbasa sausauge, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
    • 1 jar sliced mushrooms, drained
    • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • 3/4 cup uncooked long white rice


    Instructions


    1. In skillet, combine soup, water and butter; bring to a boil. Add sausage and rice. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 to 18 minutes or until rice is almost tender.

    2. Stir in peas and mushrooms. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until rice is tender and peas are heated through.

    3. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and let stand until cheese is melted.

    4. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
