    Macaroni, Ham And Cheese Casserole

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (16 ounce) package macaroni, cooked and drained
    • 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen broccoli
    • 1/2 cup margarine
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 1/2 cup onion, diced fine
    • 6 cups milk
    • 1 (16 ounce) jar Cheez Whiz
    • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
    • Dash of pepper
    • 4 cups chopped ham (1 1/2 pounds)


    Instructions


    1. Cook macaroni, drain and set aside. Melt margarine in a heavy saucepan over low heat. Add flour with whisk and then add onion whisking well. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly until mixture is thickened and bubbly. Add cheese spread, 1 cup cheddar (reserve for topping), salt, pepper and mustard. Cook, stirring constantly until cheese melts. Remove from heat. Stir in macaroni, broccoli and ham. Pour into a greased 4 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheddar cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
