    Pasta Crab Casserole

    List of Ingredients


    • 8 ounces uncooked spiral pasta
    • 2 large onions, chopped
    • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
    • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 2 (8 ounce) packages imitation crab meat, chopped
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 2 teaspoons salt
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
    • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese


    Instructions


    1. Cook pasta. Meanwhile in skillet, saute onions, mushrooms, green pepper and garlic in butter until crisp tender. Remove from heat. Drain pasta, add to vegetable mixture. Stir in crab, sour cream, salt and basil. Put into 2 greased 8 inch square baking dishes. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and freeze one casserole for up to 1 month. Cover and bake 1 at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 minutes longer. Each casserole serves 4 to 6.
    2. Thaw frozen casserole in refrigerator for 24 hours. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes.
