Spicy Chicken Pasta

List of Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked deboned chicken
- 1 pound velveeta cheese
- 2 cans Rotel
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 stick butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 16 ounces cooked pasta (bow tie looks elegant, but any type will do)
Instructions
- Cook chicken, debone and set aside. Save broth. Combine cheese and rotel in a large microwave safe dish and cook until melted. In a large bowl, combine soup, salt, pepper, garlic powder and 2 cups broth. Saute onion in 1/4 stick of butter and add to soup mixture. Add rotel and chicken and mix until thoroughly combined. Place in a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish, cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Freezes well! You can make 1/2 this recipe for a smaller crowd.
