    Lemon Nut White Chip Cookies

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 cups flour
    • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
    • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • 1 (12 ounce) package Nestle Toll House Premier White Morsels
    • 1 cup coarsley chopped walnuts or cashews
    • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 375.
    2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
    3. Beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
    4. Beat in egg and lemon juice; gradually beat in flour mixture.
    5. Stir in morsels, nuts and lemon peel.
    6. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
    7. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
    8. Cool on baking sheets for 3 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
    9. Yield: 36 cookies
