    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup butter flavor crisco shortening
    • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
    • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
    • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 375

    2. Cream shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla in a large bowl at medium speed of an electric mixer until well blended.

    3. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Mix into creamed mixture.

    4. Shape dough into 1-inch balls.

    5. Combine 2 tablespoons granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll balls of dough in mixture.

    6. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.

    7. Bake at 400 for 10 to 12 minutes.

    8. Remove to cooling rack.
