    • 3 tablespoons oil
    • 2 galic cloves, minced
    • 1 large onion, minced
    • 1 pound ground sirloin
    • 1/2 pound ground pork
    • 3 cups chicken broth
    • 2 cups water
    • 2 (4 ounce) cans diced green chiles (fresh Hatch chiles if available)
    • 4 large potatoes, diced
    • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen corn
    • 1 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
    • 1 teaspoon crushed oregano
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
    • 1 teaspoon salt


    Instructions


    1. Brown onion, garlic, sirloin and pork in oil in skillet. Cook until meat is no longer pink. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low 4 to 6 hours or until potatoes are soft.
