    Pork: Peking Pork Chops

    List of Ingredients


    • 6 pork chops about 1" thick
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
    • 1/2 cup soy sauce
    • 1/4 cup ketchup
    • 1 or 2 garlic cloves mashed
    • salt
    • pepper


    Instructions


    1. Trim excess fat from pork chops

    2. Place pork chops in crockpot.

    3. Combine brown sugar, ground ginger, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic and salt and pepper to taste.

    4. Cook covered on low 4 to 6 hours or until tender.

    5. Season with salt and pepper (optional).

    6. 6 servings at 7 points for pork chops, 4 points for porl loin, and 3 points for chicken thighs.



    Final Comments


    Serve with steamed white rice or chinese noodles.
